How to Pair Sig Rangefinder With Your Phone?

To pair Sig rangefinder with your phone you need to download its mobile application. The app is available for download on Google Play and iTunes.

Step # 1: Power on the rangefinder by pushing the range button and

Step # 2: then under the “Pairing” section, scan for devices and follow prompts to pair the device with the app.

Step # 3: When you first start the app, pick “New Profile” from the “Profiles” box in the upper right corner to create a ballistic profile.

Because the BDX system can be used with either a firearm or a crossbow, the app will question if this is for a firearm or a crossbow.

The profile can then be named and the projectile data entered. A “Library” has been preloaded with some of the most popular loads.

Step # 4: Choose the calibre of the bullet, then the manufacturer, and finally the individual projectile.

Arrow speed and weight, as well as zero range and sight height, are required for a crossbow.

Installation of Batteries

The X-Sight II uses 4 AA batteries. Use only 1.2-volt batteries. Battery installation should be done as follows:

  1. Remove the battery cap by unscrewwing it counterclockwise.
  2. Insert batteries as shown.
  3. Return the battery cap into the housings (screw clockwise).

Do not overtighten as it may cause damage to your device. The red o-ring should not be visible when the battery cap is replaced. Turn off the device before replacing the battery or switching sources of energy.

MicroSD USB and HDMI Ports

There are three ports under the cap. The first port is used to connect the device to your computer via a USB cable. The second port is used to charge the device via a USB cable. The third port is used to connect to a TV or monitor via HDMI cable.

A new card should be formatted first before use. Insert micro SD card as shown. To unlock when inserting the card in the Slot, push it with a small object (a small coin or paperclip) and return the cap into the housing. There is only one correct orientation to insert the microSD card.

Don’t use any hard objects to insert the SD card into the slot. Use the same thin object to pull out the card when you want to remove it.

You need a card that is fast enough to record video. A class 10 card will do fine.
