Top Mounted Graphic Rangefinder

The camera has an instant adaptable rangefinder. A built-in Rangelite allows you to focus even in low light conditions. You can change your lens without removing the film or taking out the battery.

Adjusting

There are no 7 inch cams. The Graphic top mounted rangefinder can’t be adjusted with the 7inch Aero lens. The cams are small odd shaped metal plates that fits into a receptacle at the tops of the cameras.

These cams serve as the rangefinder cam which extends through the top of camera housing. The other ends feel the shape of the exchangeables cam and pass it through to the mirror, but there aren’t any 7 inch cams.

How It Works

G keeps pressure on the range-finder cam. The motion is transmitted to the cam by a row of small steel spheres encased in a tube. A small plunger enters this tube at the bed end, pushing the balls through the tube. The last ball pushes another pluncer, activating the cam, which then moves the rangefinder mirror.

Yoke Bracket

The yoke bracket moves towards to the plunger. The yoke bracket is located on the bottom of the housing. The plunger is located inside the housing.

Step 1: The Rangefinder is adjusted to infinity then the lens Focusing scales and infinity stops

Step 2: Remove the rangefinder housings by unscrewing two slots on top and lift the housing straight up.

Step 3: Lift the front standard forward and remove the inner cover F by pulling one and then the other hook out of the slot E in the brackets tube.

Step 4: The master cam should be assembled in the cam slot C and the bed yoke should be back as far as it can go.

Step 5: Yoke bracket should be slid to a position that presses the lower tube plunger causing the master cam to line-up with the edge of the Rangefinder Arm.
