THE GOOD THINGS
The rangefinder offers great performance even at long distances. The accuracy drops off at around 300 meters (1000 feet). Still, it’s an excellent product for those who want to use it for hunting or shooting sports.
The V4 doesn’t come with tech for seeking pins, but it does come with tech for hunting. It has 5x magnification, which is enough for most of the shots you’ll take.
The laser is clear and the black cross shield and details on the screen stand out against most common golf backdrops. There are no readability issues there at all. The less than 0,5mW power output is Class 1 and very safe for the eyes. But still, I won’t recommend looking directly into the laser. unlike Leupold RX.

THE POOR THINGS
A golf rangefinder does not have a slope or shift measurement or angle compensation. It measures distance by measuring the time it takes light to travel to an object. This device is used to measure the distance between two objects. Golfers use this tool to determine how far away the hole is.
Rangefinders are great tools for golfers. They help them find the right distance to putt. However, if you want to use your rangefinder for more than putting, you should attach it to something sturdy. Otherwise, you’ll get tired of constantly adjusting it.
You should always read the whole manual before using your device. Otherwise, you may encounter some unexpected problems. To switch between yards and meters you need to hold the button down longer. The screen is cleared after that. Then, repeat the process and the screen displays Jolt.
You can use this device to measure distances, set up targets, take pictures, record videos, and more. This device also comes with an app that helps you explore a whole new realm of functionality.
This app requires a data connection to work properly. You can view flyovers of holes along with distances to them. You can also see hazards like ponds. You’ll get a 3D animated golf course.
Each hole is mapped within the application. You get full access to an encyclopedic guide to hole-to-hole distances and your position.

USABILITY INSIGHT FROM FIELD PERFORMANCE
Using the Bushnell Tour V 4 is pretty easy. It is fast and accurate. Sure getting the same reading to the pin every time is a wish of every idealistic golf using a rangefinder and this device doesn’t seem to materialize that. But still, accuracy is commendable every time. The difference was not more than 1-3yards in most of the cases.
The display should be more efficient. When you’re playing a long game, you’ll need to juggle between your backup batteries and the rangefinders. The display and the tactile feedback mechanisms drain the battery, so this isn’t for nothing.

WRAPPING UP
This device is designed to help you find your target quickly and accurately. It’s easy to use and works extremely fast. You’ll never need to guess what type of club to use again.
This rangefinder has everything you need for a great game of golf. It has a solid range, vibration when locked onto your target, fast and accurate distance readings, and a comfortable grip. It also has slope adjustment, but it isn’t needed because this rangefinder is already perfect.
This rangefinder doesn’t have an adjustable angle compensation feature. So, if you want to use this rangefinder, you’ll need to adjust your camera manually.
