INTRODUCTION
This product is designed for golfers who want to be able to zero in on the flag without having to acquire background objects. The device weighs 6.6 ounces and fits into the palm of your hands. You can adjust the eyepiece to get the right amount of magnification for you. The device provides distances from 5 to 1000 yards. It is capable of providing distances to trees, bunkers, and virtually anything on any golf course.

Ranging Accuracy
The ranging accuracy of the Tour V3 is plus or minus one yard/meters under most circumstances. The maximum range of the instrument depends upon the reflectivity of the targets. The maximum distance for many objects is 700 yards/ 640 meters while for highly reflective targets the maximum is 1000 yards / 914 meters.
Note: you will get both longer and smaller maximum distances depending on the reflectivity of your target and the environmental conditions when measuring the distance of an object.
The color, surface finish, and size of the target all affect the range of the device. Bright colors allow longer ranges than dark ones. Shiny surfaces provide a better range than dull ones. Small targets are harder to range than large ones. Angles to the target also affect the range of the weapon. Steep angles provide shorter ranges than flat ones. Lighting conditions also affect the range of this weapon. Overcast skies increase the distance the weapon can reach.

Mode and Unit of Measure Options
The Tour v3 measures distance in both yards and meters. The yard measurement indicator is lit up when measuring yards. The meter measurement indicator is lit when measuring meters. You can also turn on the Jolt function which allows you to set your unit of measure as either yards or meters. Pressing the power button will cycle through the different settings until you reach the desired setting.
Active Laser
A laser targeting system is used by police officers to acquire the location of criminals. Crosshairs surround the aiming circle indicating that the laser is being sent. Once a range has been acquired, the user releases the power button. The crosshairs surrounding the circle will disappear when the power button is released.
LCD indicator shows the exact slope angle from 0 to 20 degrees. The slope +/- edition model computes an angle compensated range based on distance and slope angle. The angle compensated range gives direction on how to play shots.
You can also use the fire button to shoot at targets that are further away than the gun’s normal maximum range. This feature allows you to compensate for slopes and hills in the game. For example, if you’re shooting at a target that is farther away than the gun’s max range, but there is a hill in front of you, you can still shoot at the target by pressing the fire button while aiming up the hill.

Optical Design
Magnification and coatings are important factors in determining the quality of a rifle scope. A high magnification scope provides you with more detail, but may also magnify imperfections in your target. Coating technology helps reduce reflections off the lens and allows for better contrast.
Tripod Mount
Tour V3 comes with a threaded tripod mount that allows you to attach the rangefinder to your Bushnell Golf Accessories.
