How Our Technology Works?

This device measures distance accurately using infrared light. It’s an advanced system that uses sophisticated digital technology to calculate distances instantly.

Ranging Accuracy

The range of the PINSEEKER is +/- 1 yard/meter. The maximum range of this device is +/- 1000 yards / 914 m.

The target’s color affects how far away you can see it. Shiny objects are easier to see at long distances. Whereas, smaller targets are harder to see at long distances because of their size.

Angles to the target affect how far away you can detect it. Steep angles provide better detection at long distances.

Lighting conditions affect how far away you’ll be able to see something. Overcast skies make things hard to see at long distances, but sunny days allow you to see further.

After a lot of testing, we also found that sunlight decreases the maximum range of the unit.

How to Aim a Telescope?

A telescope must be aimed before using it.

We have divided the process into steps for your better understanding.

Step # 1: To aim the telescope, place the aiming circle (in the middle of the field of view) on a distant object.

Step # 2: Press the power button to turn on the LCD screen.

Step # 3: Hold the power button down until you see the range readout appear near the bottom of the LCD screen.

Laser sights are used by military forces to aim weapons accurately. Crosshairs surround an aiming circle. When a weapon is aimed, the crosshairs disappear. Pressing the power button releases the laser beam. You can see how far away your target is. After 10 seconds, the laser beam goes out.

Units of Measurement

Measurements are done in yards or meters. In order to switch units of measurement, simply press and release the power button. You’ll see the mode indicator light up when you’re switching modes.

Targeting Mode

The PINEESEEKER® 1500 was specially developed with golfers in mind! You can use this device to target specific areas on the green. Press the power button once to turn it on. Look through the eyepiece while pressing the MODE button and then releasing.

Targeting Mode – This mode allows you to select a single pin or group of pins.

When you use this feature, the laser beam will see both the target and the background objects. You need to aim the laser beam towards the target and then move the laser slowly over it. If there is another object in your path, the laser beam will stop moving and display the distance to the target.

When you press the power button, you can move your device slowly from one object to another object and intentionally force the device to hit multiple objects. This is done to make sure you’re only showing the closest of the objects detected by the laser. Once you’ve pressed the power button, the device will always default back to PinSeeker mode.

PinSeeker with Slope ± is a very useful feature that will help you improve your game. With this feature, you can see the slope of the green and adjust your swing accordingly. You can also see the slope of the hole and adjust your swing accordingly as well.

In slope-plus mode, the device measures the angle of the slope. To get the distance to the object, press the power button. Hold the power button for about two seconds while pointing the device at the object. Release the power button when the reading appears.

Optical Design

Magnification and coatings allow you to see more detail in your target. This allows you to get closer to your target. Your target may not notice you if you are close enough.
