Warnings

Use great care when taking the telescope apart so you don’t warp any of the rings. Always grip the body of the telescope from which you’re removing the rings, or else you might damage the mounting assembly and align the lenses incorrectly.

Tips

This is not a complete dis-assembly; however, it allows you to clean the lenses and prisms, and lubricate the moving parts. The Eyepieces unscrew clockwise from the Scope Housings, allowing access to the interior surface of the eyepiece lens for cleaning, as well as the backside of the Prism. Any further disassembly is unnecessary and can cause complications during re-assembly.
