Adjustments
Windage Adjustments
Windage adjustment is the process of changing the position of the objective lens relative to the eyepiece. This allows for precise aiming at targets located far away from the shooter. The distance between the objective lens and the eyepiece is called eye relief.
Elevation Adjustments
The most popular type of adjustment on a riflescope is elevation. Elevation adjustments can be mechanical or electronic. Mechanical adjustments work by moving internal parts inside the riflescope body relative to the lens assembly. Electronic adjustments do not move any internal parts within the riflescope. Instead, an electric motor moves the entire riflescope along its axis of rotation.
